去年母亲节,儿子和爸爸送了我一个waffle maker。我们时不时也很做waffles来当早餐吃。我一般会用basic的食谱,来做各样的变化。我喜欢whole wheat, 有时候就把一些的面粉换成全麦粉或是儿子喜欢的巧克力粉。 儿子喜欢有chocolate chips的。有时我会把牛奶换椰奶,再加点pandan汁,就成了马来西亚pandan口味。
我喜欢一次做多一点,放凉后放进ziplop放在冰箱,要吃时就放在toaster toast一下就很脆很好吃了。。

Basic waffles Recipes
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups warm milk
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extra
Directions
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, salt, baking powder and sugar; set aside. Preheat waffle iron to desired temperature.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Stir in the milk, butter and vanilla. Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture; beat until blended.
- Ladle the batter into a preheated waffle iron. Cook the waffles until golden and crisp. Serve immediately.
